Notes

I started fishing this lake on the western shore where a sandy shelf no more than 2’ deep extended out 20 yards or so from shore. I saw no fish and had no hits. I then walked around the NW corner of the pond and climbed on a large rock about 10’ out from shore to try sighting some fish. At first I saw a submerged tree branch, but then its shadow changed directions slightly and I realized it was a nice fish. It started cruising a bit and I had a hit on a sinking line/PT combo but missed him. I saw a couple more fish cruising a ways out in the lake on the bottom sand, but was never close enough to really cast to them. I walked around to the bouldery, deeper south side and fished for awhile but saw no fish and caught no fish. I returned to the rock and fished for a bit but saw no fish and left the mostly-barren lake.
