Notes

Planned on fishing OsLa #3 w/ Bryce but was surprised to find the water very murky (1'-2' visibility). We tried fishing it for 1/2 hour anyway with no luck. So we moved down to #4 where the water clarity was better, but still murkier than usual, and eventually got into some fish. Bryce did a good job, landing 4 goldens. I got 3 rainbows and 1 golden.

I went back solo the next day with the intent of catching 30+ fish. Started off well, landing 4 in the first 15 minutes. But over the next 2 hours I proceeded to lose probably 25 fish while landing only 5. A nice sized rainbow snapped my 6x at the end of the day.

Not bad, but not great. That sucks the water clarity was so bad. That's ridiculous you lost so many fish.

In several years of fishing OsLa I have never seen the water stained. I wonder what caused it this year.
